For 10 years I have practised this complex and fascinating art, putting my clients' stories at the heart of my projects. I've learnt to vary and develop my techniques, to better respond to demand, and to adapt to this fascinating organ that is the skin.

Following about with cancer at the age of 21, I completely reconsidered my life. My university studies were wiped out in the space of a few months, my future became blurred and the subject of cancer accompanied my thoughts on a daily basis.

Once I was in remission and my oncologist had given me the go-ahead, I was naturally drawn to tattooing, which enabled me, in part, to regain control of my body. I could embellish it, feel it, differently, by my own choices. I began to adorn my body with indelible ornaments that had a real therapeutic impact. I realised that tattooing could be more than just an image on the body.

I've always been sensitive to artistic worlds. I drew even before I learned to write. With a Baccalauréat in Fine Arts, followed by two years in University in Human and Social Sciences with a major in Art History and Archaeology, I've been trained in aesthetics, in thinking about what's “beautiful”, and in the balance that makes all the difference.

Cancer shook me up about our relationship with our bodies, and my passion for drawing and painting, combined with my fascination for tattooing, naturally led me to learn the trade of dermographer myself.

I've always made it a point of honour to put people at the heart of my projects. 10 years ago, tattooing still had a “rebel” image. I wanted to change things in my own way, and give my customers a special moment where they could find themselves in all the reflection that this can involve.

Illness, trauma and scars are all factors that we work with in a shared project that I bring to life. When my work has a therapeutic effect, when I have helped someone to turn a page, to accept themselves, I give meaning to my profession.

In 2017, I decided to deepen my knowledge at the Maud Ravier centres with a Permanent Make-up course for facial requests, followed by the Life Repair® course for specific post-surgical needs.

Today I offer my experience to anyone who wants to reconstruct their face.

There's always time to rebuild yourself
